The Social Butterflies was born out of a passion for advertising and driving the best results for small business's. Digital marketing, especially social media advertising, PPC and SEO is a challenge for many small to medium businesses. We take the strain, our expertise and years of experience give us an edge that many digital marketing professionals simply do not have.
Helen Ray DipM MCIM the Founder and Social Butterfly has spent many years honing her marketing skills. She started her career working for a small Print Factory in Great Yarmouth, moved into the world of Radio, followed by Press and Magazines. She won an accolade of awards whilst working in Press and continued her success in Southampton with formerly Celador Radio now part of the Bauer Group.
Digital marketing and in particular, Social Media marketing has been on her radar since the phenomenon found a place on our computers and phones. She decided that digital was the way forward, moving away from the more traditional forms of advertising. ​Helen feels it is hugely important to continue to add to the skillset of The Social Butterflies and she has recently become a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The team is based in Hamble, which has led to another interesting venture, volunteering digital marketing services to Hamble Lifeboat, an independent lifeboat on Hamble River. Within the first two months of Social Butterflies help, the lifeboat increased its organic reach on Facebook by 349% and reached 58,000 people.
